Investments stood at $1,038.48 million as on Mar. 31, 2017, down 5.76 percent or $63.43 million from year-ago. Shareholders equity was at $429.46 million as on Mar. 31, 2017.
Return on average assets moved up 1 basis points to 0.92 percent in the quarter from 0.91 percent in the last year period. At the same time, return on average equity decreased 137 basis points to 8.62 percent in the quarter from 9.99 percent in the last year period.
Nonperforming assets moved down 23.12 percent or $0.38 million to $1.26 million on Mar. 31, 2017 from $1.64 million on Mar. 31, 2016. Meanwhile, nonperforming assets to total assets was 0.03 percent in the quarter, down from 0.04 percent in the last year period.
Book value per share was $21.80 for the quarter, up 8.40 percent or $1.69 compared to $20.11 for the same period last year.
